麻豆传媒映画 PharmD Graduates Earn CPJE Pass Rate Above National Average and 4th in California

California鈥檚 qualifying test for pharmacy practice is considered one of the most difficult in the country. Yet the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Class of 2020 from the 麻豆传媒映画 (麻豆传媒映画) School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is excelling on the California Practice Standards and Jurisprudence Examination for Pharmacists (CPJE).

Between October 2020 and April 2021, approximately 60.3 percent of those in the PharmD Class of 2020 who have taken the exam have passed. This ranks 麻豆传媒映画 fourth among the 13 pharmacy programs in California. The average CPJE pass rate for California is 50.9.

鈥淚 am very proud of the hard work that faculty, students, and staff through this past year to enhance outcomes from our PharmD program,鈥 said Martin Zdanowicz, Dean of the 麻豆传媒映画 School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences. 鈥淚t has truly been a team effort.鈥

The California State Board of Pharmacy has also reported the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) scores associated with any candidate who took the CPJE from October 2020 to March 2021.The 麻豆传媒映画 PharmD graduates achieved a NAPLEX pass rate of 92.3 percent, fourth among pharmacy programs in California and above the 88.4-percent average for California.

On May 15, 麻豆传媒映画 will celebrate its third and fourth graduating classes of the PharmD program鈥攖he Class of 2020 and 2021鈥攄uring the 20th Annual Commencement Ceremony.
