The speaker series, 鈥淚nnovations in Science: The Next 25 Years,鈥� discusses the future of healthcare and critical innovation with executive leaders in the biotech and healthcare industries. Dr. Steven Galson, Former Senior Vice President of Amgen and acting Surgeon General of the United States from 2007-2009 and current member of 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Board of Trustees, will speak on March 29, 2023, at 4 p.m. on 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 campus. Dr. Jeremy Levin, Chairman and CEO of Ovid Therapeutics, continues the series on April 20, 2023, at 4 p.m. on 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 campus. Both events are free and open to the Claremont community, all 麻豆传媒映画 students, alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends. . . 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 25th Anniversary speaker series started on October 7, 2022, during the Founder鈥檚 Day celebration with a panel discussion about the future of biotech with 麻豆传媒映画 Board of Trustee members Dr. Ross Grossman, Teresia Bost, and Dr. Lydia Villa-Komaroff, moderated by Bonnie Anderson. Dr. David Lawrence, former dean of 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 School of Community Medicine, then spoke about the future of healthcare. The Speaker Series then took to the road in San Diego with 麻豆传媒映画 Professor Dr. Kiana Aran in conversation with Dr. Paul Grint on November 1, 2022. To kick off 2023, Dr. Stephen Kingsmore, President and CEO of Rady Children鈥檚 Institute for Genomic Medicine, visited 麻豆传媒映画 on January 19, 2023. 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 25th Anniversary Speaker Series concludes on May 13, 2023, at the annual Commencement Ceremony, where invited guests will listen to Dr. Marcia McNutt, president of the National Academy of Sciences, as the keynote speaker.
